About Painted Human Portraits (no digital art)

This art group is for photos of painted or drawn portraits of humans.

The definition of portrait painting (according to Wikipedia):
"Portrait painting is a genre in painting, where the intent is to depict the visual appearance of the subject [...] whereas the portrait is expected to show the essence of the subject. The term 'portrait painting' can also describe a painted portrait."

Any technique on any medium is allowed: Oil, Acryl, Watercolor / Aquarel, Gouache, Pencil, Charcoal and so on. Of course it doesn't matter whether you have painted a woman, a man, a kid, a baby or a nanny (or even a politician... ;-) ). Note the group rules when joining.
