About Oxford Road Mcr

The Oxford Road project is a social archive experiment to capture and share the changing knowledgescape (located through people, space and time) of a pivotal road in central Manchester, UK.
We are interested in how a city, like Manchester, is shaped by small changes in different parts of the city, over time, and how this affects the cultural memory of place reflected in people’s tacit and explicit knowledge of the city.
