About Oxfam LA In 2008, Oxfam America launched its Climate Change Campaign. The goal? To reduce greenhouse emissions, and provide funding to help the world's poorest people adapt to the challenges of the changing climate. Teams of volunteers in 13 American cities are reaching out to educate their communities about the impacts of climate change, and the things they can do to mitigate them.
