About Oxfam Ireland Trailtrekker 2011

Well done to all our trekkers, Support Crews, volunteers, medics and donors for making TRAILTREKKER such an amazing weekend this September 10-11. Over 100 teams took part this year and tackled a 100km or 50km route from the Mournes to Carlingford.

As the photos will attest, we were besieged with wet and windy weather at the start. Luckily the rain cleared and most of the weekend from Saturday lunchtime was dry.
The first of our finishers made it to Carlingford just before midnight and we welcomed walkers home right up till almost 5pm on Sunday afternoon! Legends!
