About One World - One Heart 2008

This is a group for the partcipants of the One World - One Heart event which took place recently, see oneworldevent.blogspot.com The aim was to bring bloggers together from all over the world...people who probably would not have been connected otherwise. The particpants hosted giveaways on their blogs...all sorts of freebies. However, the main attraction was visiting lots of new blogs and making friends with people who have similar interests. Most of the particpants were artists and made their own gifts, all very talented and generous people. Before the deadline on Valentine's day, when the draws would take place , there was much excitement as we all visited each other's blogs. The overwhelming feeling of goodwill was uplifting and we are all busy revisiting blogs to read them properly. This event bought folk together, gave them ideas, inspired them, and allowed new friendships to blossom.We are all looking forward to the next one in 2009.
Meanwhile, I have started this group, with the blessing of the organiser of One World -One Heart, so that we can post photographs of all the wonderful gifts we received in the draws. If you have stories to tell about new friendships made during the week, please post them here too.
