About Non-Traditional Panoramas

Landscapes, Seascapes, Big Wide Open Spaces - They don't belong here! This group is for panoramic scenes that one might not expect would be great panorama subjects. Technical requirements are that the image must be a stitched panorama that is wider or taller than one could capture in a single exposure. The only exception to this rule is photos made with a panoramic film camera.

I have provided three samples, a good, a not-so-good and a maybe which can be used as a benchmark for acceptable panoramas.

Good: Not something one generally sees in a panoramic group.

Not acceptable: It's a big, pretty landscape.

Maybe: It's sort of a wide open space, but it is unusual in that it contains lots of people, cars, and other items of interest.
