09 Jan 08 - NO TYPICAL PEOPLE PORTRAITS, SUCH AS GRANDPA SITTING IN THE LIVING ROOM. People in nature are okay, i.e. rock climbers, mountain bikers, hikers, fishermen, etc., as long as the photos are well done. National Geographic and OP style travel portraits of people are great, vacation snap shots are not (for this group anyway). Remember to ask yourself, before posting a picture, if it's the kind of shot you would see in OP. We strive to maintain the integrity of this (Pool).

About Outdoor Photographer Magazine (Unofficial)
This is for all those people that 1) rush home every month to see if their issue of OP has arrived, 2) are inspired by the likes of George Lepp, William Neill and Colin Prior and 3) spend their free time out trying to capture the same caliber of stunning imagery.
This is a place for you to share these stunning images and receive praise and constructive critism on them.
You can post as much as you like (for now), but please comment on at least one image per day and contribute to the discussion threads.

Editors reserve the right to delete any photos that do not fit into this category or are just poor images. Please look at the images in the pool before posting to get an idea of what we're looking for. Images may be removed without explanation to maintain the integrity of the (Pool). Feel free to message an admin for an explanation as to why your picture was deleted. Please include a link to the picture in your message.
