Some of us peeps doing a weekly photo contest.

There are only a couple of rules that you must follow if you want to play.

Rule 1: You must be invited or referred to by another member of the pool. This way we keep it a friendly competition among the people we know. We don't have anything against the rest of the Flickr community, but this keeps it personal. So, when sending in your requests to be added to the group, let us admins know who referred you so we can check references. We can't let everyone have as much fun as we do.

Rule 2: You must take the photo you submit every week during that week. No going through your files and uploading something old. That's not the point. We want everyone to be challenged and pushed to be creative every week.

Rule 3: Have fun. Take unique photos. Be nice to your fellow assignment members. OK, that's 3 rules in one, but they're easy, you can handle it.

Rule 4: Not really a rule, but really just additional information. Each week starts on a Thursday with the new theme. You have until midnight on Tuesday to submit your photo to the pool. We start a new discussion on Wednesday morning so you can start voting. Paste your favorite picture in that discussion. By the end of day Wednesday we tally up the votes and declare a winner. That person is responsible for posting the next week's theme Thursday morning. Then we start all over again.

So, go get your camera (ya...., you. Don't just sit there.), think of something fun, and take a picture of it. Happy shooting.
