About OurBwD

OurBwD is the official Flickr group for Blackburn with Darwen Borouogh Council. We hope that you will use this photo pool to upload photos which show the many different sides to our towns and countryside.

Please note that Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council will assume the right to use any photos that you upload to this pool for use on the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council website, or in print within the Shuttle or on leaflets, for example. We will always credit you and state Flickr as the source.

In addition, by submitting photos to this pool, you are agreeign that you have the right to use the photos (that either you took/created them yourself or have permission of the person who did). We do not claim ownership or responsibility for the photos you upload here, except for those which are uploaded by our administrators.

To upload a photo to the OurBwD pool, please follow these guidelines:

# Put a date on the photo
# Use a brief but descriptive title
# Try and keep the dimensions as near to 240 width x 180 height (pixels) as possible
# Geo-tag your photos (click the 'place this photo on the map' link on the individual photos page) and locate them as Blackburn with Darwen
# Photos must be relevant to Blackburn with Darwen in some way
# You will not be able to add more than 3 photos a day to the pool
# Don't add borders to your photos
# Please don't upload personal photos of families and friends

Your Flickr account safety level must be set to safe to join this group. To check what level your account is set to, please do the following:
1. Click on the dropdown arrow next to You as per below.
2. Click on the Your Account link as per below.
3. Check it says Safe next to Your safety Level as per below.




Finally, any photos submitted with inappropriate comments attached, or photos which whilst in this group have inappropriate comments attached to them will be removed without warning. However, we will contact you to let you know we have removed your photo and you may resubmit your photo as soon as the inappropriate comments have been deleted.
