small cafe called Slices right near the Armani store on Midosuji. Nothing special, i know the owners. Gonna have a big opening party on saturday june 2nd.

seems like there is at least some interest ive gotten a few emails about it too. We should start considering the when and where you all want to meet. I figure we could start somewhere everyone can get to easily and go from there. Evenings and weekends are fine for me. Anyone else?

sounds good, well we've changed the date of the exchibition from June2nd to June 16th.

sounds good, The photos will all be set up and hung late late friday night. Assuming everything works out as planned i'll be in early afternoon on saturday for the night. It should be a lot of fun i'm excited to meet all of you. If you need better directions head here;

Hi Brad, saw your reply on flikr Japan group. Should be around Saturday day so will pop in to say hi. I'm free at weekends but not Mon-Fri..it's all work work work. Would be great to meet up with you guys and get some shots, learn some new techniques etc. Hopefully chat with you on Saturday.

Brad the ideas you put forward with your exhibits are very interesting, much recommended. I had a very enjoyable evening at slices and a ball playing with your camera.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out, it was a lot of fun and i hope we can do it again in the near future.
And when i say do it again i mean actually go out somewhere and shoot some photos. I'm sorry i didn't have more time to sit down with everyone and talk shop but when you're running an event like that it gets a little crazy. I'm glad you guys came and i at least got a chance to talk to each of you for a little bit.
So the big question now is whats next? Do you guys want to umm vote or something on a place to go and meet up, i say we try and start more of a club/organization, very informal but that gets together and shoots photos, talks, enjoys photography and all that good stuff.
Post your input here, i'd love to hear it.
Also feel free to link to any photosets/individual photos from last night (@ slices) once i'm home from work i'll try and upload the few shots i was able to get.

brad, I never made it to the exhibit due to unexpected circumstances. It sounds like it went down a treat. If you are organizing a photo session some weekend do let me know as I'd like to come along and get involved. I free Saturday and Sunday's most weekends.
