About Orthodox Tradition
Being Orthodox Christian means being rooted in Tradition. Customs may vary from one ethnic group to another but Tradition is recognizable by all Orthodox wherever they come from. Tradition is a common tread that binds as all and makes us part of the one body of Christ. It's been passed down to us and tested by time - what remained unchanged through the centuries is truly Orthodox. Tradition transcends space and time and connects us not only to the early Christians, but to Old Testament worship.
Before you add the photo in this group, put it to a little test: ask your self if all Orthodox will be able to understand what it depicts - wherever in the world they might be living in or whatever ethnic group they might belong to.
