About Orchids Of Australia
All good photos of Australian Orchids to help everyone I.D. and appreciate them. Most photos of orchids seem to be of when they are flowering and then the image taken is focused on the flower and that leaves the foliage either out of the photo or out of focus. This can create a problem for people who are trying to identify orchids that are out of flower. A perfect photo should consist of both foliage as well as flower, but we know this is not always possible. As long as it is or can be identified. Please dont be scared to submit a photo of an orchid that is not in flower. Also as most orchid people know there have been a lot of name changes lately so consider this group as a fresh start for the new names.
