About Orchid Stamps
Discussing and showing examples of orchid stamps and postal ephemera from around the world.
Orchid stamp collecting is an interesting adjunct to the hobby of orchid growing. Orchid stamps take up far less space than a collection of plants, and can withstand months, even years, of benign neglect. Collecting stamps is something that can be pursued no matter where you are in the world.
There already exist several organizations that provide pertinent information, such as the Orchid Stamp Club International (OSCI), based in Sydney, Australia (http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/tosci/) and the American Topical Association, based in Carterville, Illinois (ATA Handbook 118, "Orchids on Stamps," was published in 1991).
but there is no unified web presence for orchid stamp collectors.
