About Oranjegekte (Orange Mania)

Oranjegekte is the expression of the Dutch spirit. It is a phenomenon that occurs every year on queensday (30 April) and on every international football championship. Those are the very few occasions where our normally dormant patriotism comes back with a vengeance

Orange is our national colour. it comes from the Royal Family who's surname is Van Oranje-Nassau.
