Image may contain Orange or Blue or Red, alone, or in any combination.

No other colour is allowed . Orange must be Orange, as this group serves as "the sunset" group Yellow will be torerated in those to a degree but never never green. Images with errant colours of any amount or low quality will be deleted.


A listing of our current groups.

All Cartel groups are non invite and make no demands on the user beyond reading rules and complying with the specific venue. Feel free to explore and use them. Please paste logo found in admin message from group if you do wish to comment. We really wish you do.

Our groups are structured in 3 distinct Divisions and easy to identify together in organizer.

Cartel Color - Yellow/ Blue/ Green/ Orange/ Red/ "Dominates" The hub of the 10 groups in the below "Color" grouping. If your pic is in one of the 5 "dominates" groups, it may also be posted here. Discussion of any Color Division group takes place here.

Akin to your basic "blue, green etc colour group". The twist is the group name colour must "dominate" the picture, not simply CONTAIN it. For example a mostly blue image with a dominate small main subject thats red, should be posted to red. Its designed as our easiest most general colour groups and to raise your awareness to composing via colour.

In the same division structure these below groups are not "dominate based" and may simply CONTAIN a noticable large dose of the group name colour. If in doubt check group first before posting to see if its blending properly.

Earthtones ( Blue is not allowed) The sky is blue not the earth. Yes water is only the sky reflected.

Cartel * Division.....the OR Groups - The "OR " groups. 2 and 3 specific colour combinations allowing only the colours of group name in any combination.... absolutly no other colours allowed. A little more advanced that the color division, more difficult to post to but with a superior collection result. You may post the same image in BOTH DIVISIONS but ONLY to ONE group within either division.

The Villa Cartel Headquarters ....6 a day, any post to any Cartel group may be duplicated here. Catchy colours with a brain inside.

Any Lovely Flower ( No Manmade Objects)....pure flower photography with no reference to man in any way. Flower center macro is encouraged here.

Chicks With Cams Females only. Discussions are not public, photos are.

Photo Natural 50,000 BC Primordial Earth, nature... no reference to man or his creations in any way is allowed. We photograhers visited earth before man came along and built McSuberbia.

Weeds and Wildflowers Weeds and naturaly occuring flowers. No cultivars ( human bred) flowers are allowed. A weed is simply a wildflower in an unwanted place.

ONE Colour Cartel Mono toned images . Many shades but only one definable colour. Not even a bit of a second colour...it won't make the grade.

Pastel Cafe Soft Colours, Dreamy, Pastel and Fine Art...nothing "hard looking" or high contrast.

Photo Graphic Cartel . We returned to earth 50,000 years after our Photo Natural visit and discovered all biological life had somehow disappeared. Man had left but all his creations remained. Nothing biologic at all is allowed in here. One of our and Flickrs most inovative group venues.

Anything But Flowers Similar to Photo Graphic but trees etc are accepted, flowers are the only exclusion from this group...its a flower free zone. We strive to make this our portrait, fine art, abstract...but anything may go in here...except dam flowers.

Cartel Extreme Admin Faves You may not post to here you are chosen for outstanding work posted within the Cartel by one of our expert Admin staff. Nothing is asked of you just click the "ok add it" and savour the praise...it doesn't come lightly. Our admins will sometimes define why it was so dear to their heart. Enjoy this collection to see some of the best pics posted to the Cartel from a very wide range of members from all of our groups in one place.

Trashy Colours ( Trashlicious ) ... you removed the lens cap and kinda aimed the cam. You spent hours pumping the saturation button trying to get it just right. After 4 weeks and 2 comments complaining of eye injury...this may be a home for that pic.

Yummy Licious Cartel Fruit & Veggie Art...... explains itself, really, if in doubt go take a look. We don't want "because it IS a tomatoe" here...we wanna munch on the thing.

Walls Doors Windows Cartel A popular colour shoot subject, this group combines the 3 elements to build one sided buildings.

Cartel Brain Hurtin Collection One of my first groups, merged into the Cartel empire because they needed protection. Not for trippy colour but pics that warp the mind through idea or comedy, should u wish your mind warped.

Cartel - Three!! Its all about 3....3 similar objects...3 distinct planes.....the number 3!!!....your pic must speak 3 in some obvious way, via content or comp but excludes 3 colours as a valid submission. We shoot in 3's more than you realize and its up to you to speak 3 in any manner of tricky methods. Group admin is Pongo.

Barnyard Animals ( Uncensored) Cows, horses, chickens, ducks, geese or even family pets....your pet donkey will do!....not a group for ducks at the lake or zoo shots...they must be captive and maintained as pets or farm animals.

Eggoramamega Using EGGS as an art form... a few chickens are allowed as we are not certain which came first.

Finally a note from me the Cartel founder. Our group venues are based on one idea...the love of photography for the sake of photography. We do not give bogus awards or believe in forcing you to comment. If you love pictures you will comment as the best way to learn is tell someone else.

Our admins do not give bogus opinions and our groups do not serve thier own mega greatness, they are collections designed for specific venues. These venues are strict and our admin moderation is impecable. These are not OUR groups they are you the users, we only work here. I have no mercy on colour dumpers who don't read rules and will ban these animals in a heartbeat, although mistakes are expected. Please care about your Cartel with excellent adherance to venue through your posts and keep us strong by taking an interest in fellow members work. Thanks for postin
