Photoshop Post Processing

Photoshops CS2 along with photographic plugins can be used to bring out the detail and color in photographs so they can look their best.

I've used Photoshop for some time now to post process photographs. I do this on virtually all my images since I shoot only in raw NEF mode on my Nikon D100.

If you have an image you would like to have optimized, then here's your opportunity to see how good they can be.


Posting Guidelines

1. Post your photograph to the pool and I'll optimize it for free as a web sized image showing a before and after comparison.

2. The best candidates for optimization are photographs that are already good, but just need some processing to make them excellent.

3. Please post only one photo at a time.

4. I'll remove the original from the pool and post it back with a before and after comparison in a web sized image.

5. If you'd like a full size camera image optimized, I'll optimize your photo for $5 per image. Just contact me and I'll get it done for you right away. Please submit the unaltered camera file for best results.


Optimization Includes:

1. Color balance for natural flesh tones
2. Reduce digital noise
3. Sharpen
4. Remove blemishes
5. Adjust brightness and contrast


I'll do some or all of the optimizations listed above depending on what I deem appropriate for each image.
