About Operation Snapshot
This is a group dedicated to OperationSnapshot.com.
I am an amateur photographer, my best friend just returned from being gone for 6 months training to be a marine. I did family portraits for his family last weekend. I refused to take any money for them. The last few days I have been thinking about the honor of serving our country and how little most of us do to affect the big picture. I got an idea to shoot pictures of other military families for free, and how it might make a difference even if just a little.
My goal is to connect other photographers willing to help with military families that would like portraits done. This could be portraits of families with members already overseas, or soon to be departing for active duty.
