About Ooh, Shiny Thing!

Are you sometimes baffled why some of your images are so popular with other Flickrites and yet others you really like are left unloved? I know I am, although I think it may have something to do with 'shinyness'.

We've all done it from time to time, created an image with some particular trait that meant it couldn't fail to make people go 'Ooh, shiny thing!'. All are welcome to post any of their pics that they believe have one or more of these special traits and engage in some gentle ribbing and creative commenting about their shinyness.
