In Ontario, farms are disappearing fast as developers buy up their land to make way for malls, mansions and condos. A lot of farmers decide to sell even though they are getting rid of everything they've ever known and loved and a lot of them are farms that they have had for many generations... because it is a hard way of life and with the economy today...a lot of them are hurting. That is why these developers offer them a deal they just can't refuse. It saddens me to see this happen. How come nobody cares about history anymore? I have all the respect in the world for farmers today and of yesterday..and if you do..say HELL YEA....respect them..support them and buy local! Next time you see a farmer working his field or driving up the road..give him a thumbs up!



This group is for all things relating to Ontario Canada Farms/Farming or our wonderful Farmers. This is for farms today and farms of the past. Please join and invite all your Canadian Farm Loving Friends. Please take the time to comment on any images you like in the group.
