About Only in California
Part of what makes California so spectacular is the amazing amount of diversity and character that's present throughout it. From incredible landscapes to the people who have made the state their home, it is unlike any other place on Earth. In celebration of this, we invite you to share with the world pictures that capture what makes California unique.
This Flickr group was previously connected to a contest sponsored by The California Report. While the contest is now closed, we continue to welcome your participation. We would also like to thank all of those who helped us choose the grand prize winner, Kitchen M, along with all of the other winners, which you can check out in this gallery.
To Enter Photos:
- Entries must be by an individual, so no group submissions please.
- Briefly tell us how your photograph reflects a unique aspect of California.
How the Contest Worked:
- Of the winners, the image that received the most favorites from the Flickr community during the duration of the contest won an iPad.
- For each theme that was announced, one image was chosen as a winner and they received a copy of the book California.
- Only residents of California were eligible to win.
- By adding your photo to the Flickr pool, you are agreeing to our Terms of Use
