About Only Coney

Do you have surreal, abstract or newsworthy images of Coney Island that you'd like to share? Any format or medium is welcome: You can send snaps of your drawings, illustrations, painting, writing, installations, conceptual work, graphics, mixed-media work, sculpture, body art, or sand castles.

Of course direct photography would be great too! But try to post unusual shots, as there are some great Coney Island groups already and we don't want to duplicate those collections.

Coney Island, the seaside town in Brooklyn, New York, is about to transform under a wave of new development. Only Coney (www.onlyconey.blogspot.com) is a non-commercial image blog that will feature visual art created in or inspired by the sights, sounds, and scents of Coney Island.

We'll post an image from this group to the blog each day and, of course, we'll credit and link to the photographer/artist.

Important: By posting to this group you are giving us permission to reproduce your images on www.onlyconey.blogspot.com.

Ideally the jpgs you post to the group will be 750 by 450 pixels at 72dpi. Other proportions will be cropped. A Flickr widget will appear on the blog linking back to this group. Members can post 5 photos to the pool each day.
