About Onirism

Onirism is a mental activity similar to dreaming, but it occurs in an woken state. The subject reacts to the images as if they were real, and continues to react to reality, only with troule percieving the frontier between it and the delirium.

Onirism also evokes a poetic, dreamlike quality.

We are looking for something hushed, soft, translucent, romantic, weird, silent, light, wonderful, peaceful, quiet, magical, surreal, unreal, transcendental, ethereal, eerie...

We are fairly selective in accepting or denying photos for the pool. We are looking for a aparticular atmosphere for the group, and denying a photograph doesn't mean we don't like it, just that it doesn't fit our idea or onirism.
