Student Program Coordinator (a group admin) says:
12 May 11 - One Waterloo will be accepting photo submissions on an ongoing basis. To have your photo included in future galleries, you must agree to all terms of the waiver outline below, and include:
- A title for your picture
- A description explaining how your photograph answers the question, "what does diversity mean to me?"
- Your name
- Your program of study or title at the university
- Your year of study (for students)
uWaterloo students, staff, and faculty are welcome to submit photos!
About One Waterloo Diversity Photo Gallery
Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures to be displayed in the One Waterloo Diversity Photo Gallery in the Great Hall on January 18th and 19th 2011.
New submissions will be accepted on an ongoing basis to be included in future events.
For each picture that you submit, you must provide the following pieces of information:
- Title of the picture
- Short written statement explaining how your photograph answers the question, "What does diversity mean to me?”
- Your real name
- Year of study and program / position title for staff and faculty
- Names of any models used in your photo (Please ensure that you have your model's permission to submit the picture to this gallery.)
Waiver Form
By submitting your photograph for the Diversity Photo Gallery, you are acknowledging that:
A)You are the person who took the photograph and that you are a student, staff, or faculty member at the University of Waterloo at the time of your submission.
B)The Federation of Students has the right to use your name and photograph for display at the Diversity Photo Gallery and in future One Waterloo promotional materials, including but not limited to print and online reproduction.
C)One Waterloo will retain submitted photographs in a photo bank and there is no expiration as to the length of time your photograph may be reproduced.
D)Any and all subjects in your photograph have consented to having their photo taken and for use of the photograph as outlined in the above terms.
E)One Waterloo has the right to limit or refuse use of your photograph.
