Everyone has that one object that they have photographed a thousand times...we just can't help it! We're inexplicably drawn to it. Mine is a tree that sits in a field near my apartment building. It changes with the light, the weather, and the seasons. But it could be a single object that you feel the need to photograph over and over in different lights, different situations, different backgrounds & surroundings, like a stuffed animal that you take on all of your vacations & include in all of your photos; sitting on a diving board at the pool, next to you in the seat at the movie theatre, etc.
The only rule is that the central object has to be the same for all 365 days. It doesn't matter what the background is, you can move the object from place to place. But it cannot be a similar object, it has to be the exact same object every day (for example, I plan to photograph the same tree every day and then we will see the change in seasons over the course of a year.) It can be a pet, a child, a stuffed animal, a rock, a wine glass, your face, whatever...as long as it is the same exact object on day 365 as it was on day 1.
Please add the tag "One Object 365 Days Project" to each photo you post.
Please put the date and the number out of 365 in your title or description.
Example: 1/365 7-31-07
You are allowed only one photo for each of your 365 days. You may join anytime. Your 365 days starts with your first photo. The date you took it must match the date that flickr assigns, so if it is after midnight, it constitutes a new day. (obviously, you can edit the date if you want to, and nobody will know the difference, but we will depend on the honor system on that one. There is no way to moderate it)
Each photo must have been taken on the day that it is labeled for. If you get behind, and you are unable to upload them right away, you can upload three photos at a time to catch up. They must have been taken in consecutive order. If you have more than three to upload to catch up, please wait until there is at least one photo posted after your first three, then continue.

Please invite your friends and contacts...the more members we have, the more diverse and interesting the pool will be. There is no specific rule for commenting on other's photos, although it is always welcome, and it will give us all incentive to continue posting! The discussion threads are there for all of us to use. If you have something to say, say it, as long as it is not offensive and it helps promote harmony in the group. If you have a complaint, please do not post it in the thread, send me a private message, and I will handle the situation appropriately. If you have an idea for a contest or a unique twist to add to the general idea of this group, I welcome your suggestions, start a thread, and see what comes of it. This group is democratic, and we all have an opinion about how it is run. If you would like to become an administrator or a moderator, just contact me, and I'm happy to add you. I understand that this may be more than I can do all by myself!
