About The Last Polaroid On Earth
Polaroid recently announced the discontinuation of all instant film. At this time (25 Feb .08), no one has ponied up to buy the licensing & restart production. It causes me to wonder what it means if nobody does.
Someone, at some point in the future, will shoot The Last Polaroid On Earth. Who will it be? What will it look like? Why will that person choose that one moment to shoot it? What kind of Polaroid will it be? Will that person even know it?
What if it was you? And even if it isn't you, what about your final Polaroid?
This group is intended to showcase your VERY LAST genuine Polaroid, and any thoughts you have about it. Not your latest, not the last one you shot, but the last one you'll EVER shoot. All formats of Polaroid are welcome, but please, no Fujifilm. And naturally, only one shot per photographer.
It is my hope that the pool will be verrrrry slow to fill up.
