Backgrond
Once Around The Sun is a group inspired by the 365 Days group. There, the objective is to take a self-portrait every day for a year. I highly recommend you check it out. It's a great group with a very supportive community. Chris Maverick has done a great job there laying out the gestalt behind that group on which this one is based.

Overview
Here, we're a bit less stringent than 365 Days. Feel free to share any photos that express your daily experience. Some days -- perhaps on those when your hair is looking particularly fabulous -- this may be a self-portrait. On other days, maybe you'll be moved by a landscape, a ripple on the water, a deep powder day, the steam off a latte, a bumpersticker, or a brilliant piece of architecture. Whatever. Try to make it something that depicts your joy, sorrow, or ambivalence of being alive that day.

Of course, feel free to cross-post to 365 Days when appropriate, too.

Rules / HOWTO
1. Post one photo per day *
2. Tag your photos with "Once Around The Sun"
3. Add a brief description to your photo if you have the time and it's warranted by the image. If not, that's okay as well.

* Like the 365 Days group, if you are on vacation or away from the computer, feel free to post a string of photos at once. Please be reasonable to avoid flooding the stream.
