About Once upon a ... photo
How the story works:
One of the Admin team will begin a story, and will leave one photo from the group's pool at the end. The next person will pick up the story from where it left off, and at some point in their narrative will weave in a reference to the last picture. They will then add another picture from the pool (small size only, please - you can use the new Flickr picture link code, placing the page address in square brackets; e.g. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/example/1234567890/]) for the next person to pick up..... and so on.
There will be several different themes and styles - so please read the brief guidelines included with each story before adding your own post, and respect the original author's intent. For example, if all previous contributions appear to be serious, please don't spoil the plot with a flippant remark or a joke - those will be more appropriate in stories whose intent is in a lighter vein. Inappropriate additions will be removed and deliberate attempts to disrupt or offend will result in a ban.
If a story gets stuck for more than a week with no new additions, the Admin team will remove the last addition and its associated picture, and the story will continue in a different direction from the end of the previous episode.
Please add any photos to the pool that you think will make interesting twists to our story plots. By posting to the pool, you are giving permission for their use within story threads within this group. You may of course use any of your own photos, but please add them to the pool so that others may use them as well.
The Admin team may remove any photos that are unsuitable/unusable for the purposes of the group.
Commenting pictures in the pool.
If you would like to leave a comment on any of the pictures you see in the stories or in the pool, that would be very nice (we all like to be noticed!), but it is not a requirement. If you choose to leave a comment or a nod, please copy and paste this message (between the dashed lines):

Inviting pictures to the pool.
If you are not inspired by any of the current photos in the pool, you should search through the photostream of any current group member, and invite them to submit whichever pictures you think would be helpful, by copying and pasting this message (between the dashed lines):
