Photos of clotheslines from around the world--I find that there is something very beautiful and romantic about a traditional clothesline. The play of light against and through fabric, the dynamic aspects created by wind, the scope of colours and shapes, and the intimacy of one's belongings so publicly revealed all combine to make them true objects of art.
