Then this is your group.

We will post a new assignment every month (this is our job); your job is to go out with your camera, hunt for that perfect pic and post it here.

Here are the rules:

1) YOU CAN POST A FEW SHOTS BUT FOR THE VOTING YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE ONE OF YOUR SHOTS. I REPEAT ONLY ONE STAYS FOR THE VOTING.

2) THEY HAVE TO BE NEW STUFF, not some old pics you had conveniently lying around. So when the assignment was posted, say, in April 2006, I want pictures from April 2006, NOT from before!!! If you're shooting digital, add original info, so we can check the dates!

3) Tag your pics with On-Assignment-Group plus whatever the assignment is (i.e. RED).

Any pics that don't belong here WILL be deleted. Anyone breaking the rules will be asked (ever so friendly) to refrain from breaking the rules. Hard cases and spammers will be put to the wall and shot. Repeat offenders will be fed to the sharks.

OK. We have decided to make it a bit more of a competition, so here's what we at ON ASSIGNMENT HQ came up with.

At the end of the month, the Q's will choose 5 pictures they consider to be the best ones and stick them in a new thread. You can vote for the best one of the five and whoever gets most votes wins. The winner can come up with next month's assignment.

A couple of things about this:
The winner can choose next month's assignment, but has to keep in mind the nature of this group. That means NO outright porn (I am sure your girlfriend knows her stuff but we don't want to see it), satanic cult things (we're open, of course, but some are not), mutilations of any kind (do I need to explain this?) and other, well, offish stuff!

ALL assignments need to be in around the 20th of each month (specific date will be anounced), so we can choose the five nominees.

Now, go out and remember: it's a dangerous world out there!
