About Oliver Farm Equipment

In 1929 , the Oliver Tractor Company was formed by the merger of the Oliver Chilled Plow Company, the Nichols and Shepard Company, the American Seeding Machine Company, and the Hart-Parr Tractor Company. Oliver Chilled Steel went from making plows in Indiana to eventually making a complete line of farm equipment: tractors, plows, discs, harrows, combines and so on. They also had a partnership with Cleveland Tractor and made the Oliver-Cletrac crawler tractors. And Oliver was long associated with Cockshut in Canada.

Oliver and Minneapolis Moline merged and became White. This group covers all the brands associated with the Oliver company.
