About Palestine olive harvest volunteers (UK, Zaytoun) 2007

These photos document the experiences of a group of volunteers, mainly from the UK, who went to help with the 2007 olive harvest in the West Bank (Palestine). The visit was organised by the UK based Zaytoun (which imports olive oil to the UK from Palestine) in partnership with the International Women's Peace Service, a non violence resistance organisation which works to support Palestinians living under occupation. The volunteers worked with families in different villages in the Salfit and Nablus districts, as the farmers struggle to harvest their crops, while coping with life under Israeli occupation.
