12 Sep 08 - Hey everyone, I love the photos you've been posting lately. I'm open to suggestions on how to grow this group and increase it's visibility, and you guys can help by spreading the word. Also, keep in mind that fiberglass cars and billet, etc... are not allowed. There are a couple of cars I need to delete...please don't take offense, I just want to keep this group focused on traditional and old school rods. Thanks everyone...KEEP ON POSTING...

About Old School Hot RodsForget those polished plastic show circuit cars! Gimme steel, old school rust, something with patina or suede...character, reverse chromed steelies, kelsey hayes, ansens, halibrands - or just plain painted & rusty ones, no billet, 3 pedals are good / 2 pedals are not as good, sweet south-o-the-border multicolored blanket upholstery or tuck-n-roll...no leather!, 3 dueces, & dual quads - no EFI!, Show me some flatties, hemis, rats, nailheads and straight sixes...V8 power baby - just keep it period correct... Forget the air ride, A/C, power windows or heated seats...I want to smell gas, watch rubber fly and see sparks when I roll. Find cars that mean something other than you know how to write a big fat check. I want to see something built with ingenuity, tradition and pride...something driven, nothing trailered and all things OLD SCHOOL!! |
