Olde Type is a group to showcase the steampunk beauties from the turn of the century on up until our decided cutoff date of 1950's retro futurama period. These were the golden days of type....when novels were hammered out along the big sur coast by fellows like Hunter S. Thompson, while smoking a pipe and tumbling down some rum. Think Ernest Hemingway....think Jack Kerouac, think William S. Burroughs, think Edgar Allan Poe.....the list goes on and on..... The beauty of these machining masterpieces, was the craftsmanship put into their design, the fit and finish, the springs, levers, ratchets, and keys that gave our voices a hard copy in print.
