About Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch RailwayBuilt in the 1920's the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway was the brainchild of Captain J.E.P. Howey and Count Louis Zborowski with Henry Greenly as the Chief Engineer. The line runs for 13.5 miles from Dungeness to Hythe and is unique in that 8 miles of it are double track which earned it the name "Mainline In Miniature". |
