About Offa's Dyke National Trail
The Offa's Dyke Trail follows for much of its length the ancient earthwork from which it borrows its name. It continuously crosses and recrosses the English/Welsh border on its journey from Sedbury Cliffs on the Severn Estuary in the south to Prestatyn in the north. The walker will pass through an amazing variety of beautiful scenery along its 177 miles course. The group seeks to compile a photographic record of the path and the scenery it passes through, showing its many moods - some of the ancient Dyke itself would be useful, still very much in evidence after 1,400 years. People, places, villages - anything and anybody met on the trail can be included.
