Ocean Conservancy invites you to join our photography group and submit your photographs to our 2011-2012 Marine Wildlife and Seascape Photo Contest!

Everyone here at Ocean Conservancy loves seeing all of the amazing places your passion for the ocean takes you, and the diversity of what moves you the most. Each picture you upload to our Flickr group is not only a snapshot of the beauty and complexity of the ocean itself, but is also a powerful reminder that we must work hard, together, to protect it—now more than ever.

To enter, add your photos along with a brief caption to this Flickr group to take part in the Marine Wildlife and Seascape Photo Contest. If you're a member of Flickr, simply join this group and add your photo to the group pool.

The easiest way to add a photo to a group is to go to the photo's page and click the "Send to Group" button between the photo tile and the photo. Then choose the group you want to sent it to ("Ocean Conservancy Photography") and make sure you tag the photo with "PhotoContest-OC11" through the "Tags" feature on the photo's page.

If you aren't yet a member of Flickr, sign up for a FREE account and upload your photos. Flickr is part of Yahoo! so all you need is to sign in to your Yahoo! account and you will be signed up. If you don't have a Yahoo! account, you can create one now and upload your photos right away.

Do you use a mobile phone? You can upload straight to Flickr by email, or using one of the Flickr partner services. Check out the Flickr Mobile Tools.
