This group is about simple, beautifully fashioned, beautifully textured objects. I want to use the word utilitarian here because of the "baseness" of the term/function, but in the objects simplicity I want a quiet kind of beauty. I think this will be a hard group to find pictures to fit, so please be patient when I let only a very few, specifically relevant items, in.

I want as little in the photograph as possible, high lighting the object. The closer, the better. Good light. Lovely, simple composition.

Please forgive me if I do not let one of your photos in the group. This is never a rejection due to asthetics but rather due to preferance (my subjective definition of the group topic). Thank you.

When I started this group I wasn't fully formed in my idea of it and I invited beautiful pictures that aren't containers (I have since changed the word "detail" to "container") but I LOVE these pictures so please stay in the group! ;)
