11 Sep 09 - The NYC Exposition photo group participated in a BLOGS exhibition in NYC in 2005. Our group is about showcasing our art. Each member posts up to 10 photos that he or she wants to showcase in our global art gallery. Depending on the artist, the photos on exhibit may remain the same or not, but the limit is always 10 for each member.

About NYC Exposition

The goal of this group is to exhibit our photography online and to showcase our art in public. New membership to this group is currently open. Our goal is to keep the group at 200 members so if you are interested in joining group, take advantage now.

Our work was featured in 2005 at:

BLOGS: A group exhibition of photoblogs from the NYC Exposition, Puerto Rico Sun, and East Harlem photo groups. The exhibition was from October 14 to December 17, 2005 at MediaNoche, a multimedia gallery in NYC's El Barrio. Here's a link to the press release on the BLOGS exhibit: medianoche.us/exhibits/exhibit.php?exhibit=Blogs .

The BLOGS exhibit also featured photos of members in:
flickr.com/groups/prsun/
flickr.com/groups/elbarrio/

Since then many of our members have had solo and group photo exhibits. Others have had their photos published in magazines, newspapers and books. Some have landed photo jobs. This group is about empowering our members to pursue their photo dreams.

Thanks.
