Welcome to NWF’s National Wildlife Magazine Photo Group, a place to share your images of nature.

Think you’ve got a prize-worthy photo in your collection? Enter the National Wildlife Photo Challenge! Every other month, editors of the magazine will select a theme for the challenge and invite members of the group to submit photos for consideration.

Photo Challenge: “Your Favorite Wildlife Photo”
The current theme is “Your Favorite Wildlife Photo”. This is the place to post your personal favorites. Do you have images that are especially beautiful? Striking? Just plain unusual? Upload your entries to the group pool and tag them (see below) for your chance to win. In January, we will select finalists among these images and ask group members and others to vote for their favorite. (Note: Finalists will be contacted via FlickrMail—be sure to check your inbox!) The top vote-getter will receive a Wingscapes BirdCam, an easy-to-use, motion-activated camera that can be mounted next to a feeder or birdbath, taking bird-watching to the next level. The winner, if not already an NWF member, will also receive a one-year membership to National Wildlife Federation, which includes a subscription to National Wildlife magazine.

TO PARTICIPATE: Add the tag Favorite-NW10 to the photos in the group pool you wish to enter in the challenge. Entries will be accepted until December 15, 2009.
