About Pacific Northwest Fine Art Photographers
This group is limited to photographers living in the Pacific Northwest, which for this group we'll define as Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. Photographs for this group must also have been taken in the Pacific Northwest. Genres may include, but not be limited to, landscapes, architecture, and abstracts.
As of January 1, 2008, Pacific Northwest Fine Art Photographer members may be invited to show their work at the Sixth Street Gallery, in Astoria, Oregon. The gallery is located in an office building on the waterfront: local artists have been selling paintings and photographs at the gallery for the past ten years. Beginning January 1, 2008, the gallery will be dedicated to Northwest Photography. All works hung in the gallery must be framed in black (wood or metal) and matted in white. Frame size must be either 16x20 or 16x24.
If the group grows to a decent size and has an active membership, I'm hoping to arrange some photo outings starting in 2008.
