About Consecutive Number Hunt
Post the next number!
Some Simple Rules
The number has to follow the one before, and you can't post more than one number at a time. If someone does post a number that isn't consecutive, or posts more than one number at a time, it will be deleted, along with any numbers that follow it. You can continue the numbers as though an erroneous number isn't there, though. In other words, if posts run 255,256,312,313,257, then 312 and 313 would be deleted from the list, but 257 wouldn't.
You can't just write the number down, photograph it, and post it. That's cheating. You have to find it out there in the world at large.
A new rule, suggested by Boonzie in order to keep things interesting, don't be taking photos of, say, all the door numbers in your street and then posting them alternately - try and make sure each number comes from a different place.
The number has to be clearly visible in the image at thumbnail scale; the viewer shouldn't have to hunt it out in the image, especially from a range of numbers.
Oh, and don't be rudey.
But hey, let's have fun with it. If you've numbers to share but have missed your window, start or seek out a discussion thread for alternatives of a particular number and post or link to it there.
