About Nu.Fantasy

This group is for collectors of the Nu.Fantasy dolls from Japan. They're hybrid doll that features the Misaki body with a Nu.Face head. The theme of the collection is children's fairytales, and began in 2008.

From DollyStyle magazine Spring/Summer 2008:
Dollystyle: Are they new Character(s) of NuFace? What girl is it?

Jason: Yes. "Kumi" and "Yuri" are new characters. They are our first ever twins, and are in fact a part of the Nu.Face collection. Kumi and Yuri are both Japanese/American mix, so they have exotic, fresh features. In addition, they belong to a new, special series of Nu.Face dolls called "Nu. Fantasy" dolls, which will be modern takes of classic fairy tales. This series will be exclusive to Japan and we will collaborate with many different Japanese designers.

Dollystyle: Please tell me your comment about Red Riding hood and Wild Wolf.

Jason: We decided to make the first dolls in the Nu. Fantasy collection "Little Red Ridinghood" and "Wild Wolf" because this is one of my all time favorite fairytale stories. I thought a "mode" interpretation of this story could be very different. Of course I asked one of my favorite Japanese design team, LoveSound, to join me on this project, as well as the very talented Momolita. It is my first time working with Momolita, and I have to say, she is so very talented!
