It's a bit weirdly set up. Open gallery and go to Options > Send > Web upload.
From there you get to define your Flickr account as usual. Note that the id/password is not your normal one, but a special one instead. You'll find it under Nokia Flickr FAQ. There's no N95 page yet, but you'll get the id/pwd combo from for example here.

Thanks for pointing that out.
"** IMPORTANT ** This is different from your Flickr/Yahoo! login."
And there was me about to blame it on the move to Yahoo! accounts! ;)

Thanks for that; not sure I would have found the right password to use otherwise. Does anyone know why it doesn't use the 'regular' Flickr login ?

Just uploaded my first few pics from N95 to flickr but my question is - does anybody have any idea how much this all costs!!!?? i 'm guessing ALOT!!
I ask because I was rather shocked when I found out how much the GPS was costing on the N95 and this is probably no different! If its roughly the same as web browsing and downloading/uploading data then its about £3 per MB... following this logic an average 200kb photo will cost 60p to upload to Flickr!!! think I will wait for my first bill before I upload any more....

Hi Stu,
the issue here is what rate plan you are on with your mobile operator, everyone here will be in different countries and different operators, different plans.
You should call your operator in uk? ie orange, voda etc and see. The best thing is to go for an "all you can eat" plan or data "flat rate" plan where you pay one fee for as much data as you can use, its normally a bit more per month , but will cover you also for email, browsing etc all in one fee.

Hiya
one idea is to use WLAN connection, if that makes economic sense for you - I use it at home - its fast!
cheers

Just got my N95 2 days ago. Only started playing around its uploading feature just now. Thanks to this forum, I've found my way to get around the login thing. Although a bit clumsy to setup, the feature is convenient. Hope they will add the feature to retrieve our tags and applying them to the pictures before uploading.

I'm confused now... is there anyway to get the pics from the N95 through to my existing Flickr account rather than the "special one" ?
Any clarity would be appreciated!

Hi
theres only one account... its just that on the device (only) you need a special username and password, but images all end up in the same place..

I surrender. This is impossible. I've been trying for 2 hours to connect my N95 with flickr and the instructions the flickr team gives are cool and friendy but useless and so simplistic that solves nothing.

Hi Jencinar,
lets run through the checklist:
- what operator are you on (and country)? for eg 3UK often have probs the way their rate plans and access points work.
- accesspoints; are you using the one that says "internet", "net", "GPRS" or similar? do *not* use access points that say words like MMS, WAP, Streaming... This is common issue for all intenet related services like email etc nothing to do with flickr.
- if you are unclear on above points, call your operator to make sure.
- also.. to make sure you havent accidentally created a wrong account.. go to gallery-options- open online service- settings- my accounts.. if you see Flickr there, delete it , and then start over again.
- watch case sensitivity with T9 input.
try that! :-)

I've just uploaded my fist few pictures to Flickr with my N95, however they are coming up as tagged with N70 and cameraphone. Obviously I want them tagged with N95, anyway I can change this?

Thank you Peter, but I actually have completed that stage successfully. It's just that my uploaded photos are being tagged with N70 (my old phone) not N95. I don't remember being asked at any point in the past if I want to set a default tag so I dont understand why its there. Any more thoughts anyone?

mr.rich, are you using email to upload your photos? If so, you have to go into the email tab in your account properties on flickr to change your default tags applied to each email uploaded pic.

diaper: Excellent! That was it! I wasn't uploading via email, I was using the built in N95 Flickr client, but changing those settings has worked. Thank You so much for your help!

My N95 GPS coordinates have a comma "," between the degrees and the decimal degrees. When I upload to Flickr (with ShoZu) the coordinate tags get seperated between the degrees and decimal degrees becaus of the comma. Does anyone know a way to get a dot "." in my Nokia N95 GPS coordinates?
thanx

I just upgraded to firmware 30 and flickr doesn`t show up on the list. I tried downloading the cfg file, but when I try to open it it opens in notepad, so all I see is the source code.
Can anybody help me install the cfg?
Thanks!

I prefer using ZoneTag. It prompts me as soon as the shot is snapped and I'm uploading on the spot, which prevents me from hoarding and cluttering my card.

Have an N95 running firmware v 21.0.016. The new bundled version of Nokia Share Online doesn't properly support Flickr. Get -5120 network errors when trying to upload to Photostream. This worked perfectly with v2.0 but has somehow corrupted. I tried the fixes listed above but no luck. The config file fix comes in as a notepad file - how do I get that to install on the phone?
