27 October 2011 tweetup at Vandenberg AFB in California for the NPP (NPOESS [National Polar-orbiting Observing Satellite System] Prepatory Project) weather and climate satellite launch. The launch occurred at 02:48 PDT on 28 October.

25 space tweeps were selected for this, but a few were unable to attend after the launch date slipped a few days beforehand.
