This Group is for Street Photographer's of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

We ONLY want Street photographs, taken in Nottingham, here. Please follow these guidlines before joining:

YES TO:

Candids of people in situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls.. photographs don't have to be taken on a 'street' to make it a street photo. Political and/or protest shots are welcome, but there has to be a 'decisive moment', and not just a snapshot.

Street Portraits of street characters and people
Decisive Moments or poignant moments of people in situations within public places.
All images MUST contain a HUMAN element!
MUST be taken in Nottingham/shire

NO TO:
Shots of homeless people are strictly forbidden. This is akin to shooting ducks in your local park and calling yourself a wildlife photographer.

Pictures of your friends or family or of models or STAGED and POSED group shoots
Posed shots of strangers where you asked to take their picture
No images of empty roads and streets or buildings unless it conforms to the Yes rules
