About Not the 365 Days Group

This group is for people who are really into the idea of creating 365 Days of self-portraits but are (like me) completely crap at committing and actually getting down and doing it, for whatever reasons (mine are a combination of lack-of-time and potential-embarrassment). I know there is already a 52 weeks group for the half-hearted, but even that seems far too regular and orderly for me.

You should only post self portraits here. Ideally they will be cool shots, evidencing a little piece of your character or saying something about your life.

Double-ideally, you will try to lay down a series of portraits (one a day) over a period of days. I like the idea of a themed set, but don't worry if they're just any old self-portraits. The group doesn't mind if they include partial nudes or are mildly erotic but would feel obliged to delete any blatant pornography (the administrator's decision being final).

The rules are:

You should only post one picture per day.

You do not have to post a picture every day. In fact, a cardinal rule is that you should not post a self portrait every day.

Anyone posting a picture every day (or for more than 15 days in any one calendar month) will have their group membership revoked as they are obviously far too well organised and professional a photographer and ought to join the 365 Days group proper.

Anyone posting pictures that clearly contain no representation of self will have their picture deleted and will be banned from the group.

Anyone who has completed the 365 Days project and now only needs the occasional 365 Days sort of boost is welcome to join this group.
