Posting limit?

One of the new flickr admin tools is to automatically limit posting, eg to x per day/week/month/total. Do we want this?

With it being a no-overhead admin task, I would be positive to eg a 5/day limit (actual figures may vary). Other opinions?

I don't mind limits, personally -- and this is your group, so it's kind of up to you ;) But I wanted to thank you for pointing this out to me! As a group admin it's nice to finally not have to monitor the pool so closely!
Yay Flickr!!!

A day limit isn't such a bad idea - it brings variety.

As long as members are posting photos of other people's cats, I don't really mind how many they add at a time. After all, our aim is global domination.

Now, if we could set a "not my cat" tag filter, that would be an altogether different matter.

I second the splendid pink & green loplop. I don't understand why we need a limit, especially since we've set our sights high for ever more photos. Wouldn't a limit be contrarian to our essential raison d'etre, so to speak, as it were?
I am already running out of good cats photos anyway. So I am glad to add one every Friday.

Since we are posting here somebody else's cats, do we really have the same masses of cats pix like cat owners have? (Which means, is the actual question really a problem for this group?)

TOUCHSTONE - Truly, and to cast away honesty upon a foul slut were to put good meat into an unclean dish.

AUDREY - I am not a slut, though I thank the Gods I am foul.

As you like it, act 3

Wow, I never realised how much everybody loves these serious discussions.

Perhaps we should have more of them, instead of all that stuff about food and coloured things. And maybe we should have a "serious" symbol in the title, like they use to designate food suitable for vegetarians -- (s) or something...

In which case, please observe the country code.

I have been observing it for 9 hours now and it hasn't moved. May I go home?
squacco 13 years ago
Ok, but be sure to shut the gate after you.
WaterWindStars 13 years ago
I hope you will continue to observe it while I'm away.

I'm back, squacco! And I've got another king-sized bag of marshmallows to toast...

*peeks over fence* I'm back too! Let's tell ghost stories!

It was a dark and stormy night...

No, wait -- it is a dark and stormy night (here, in any case) -- I'm going back in the tent.
squacco 13 years ago
Ah, there may be a problem there. I had to use the tent pegs for kindling.

*awkward pause*

Another marshmallow?

*awkward pause*

I seem to have sat on the bag of marshmallows. I thought it was a pillow.
squacco 13 years ago
Aaah, in that case I seem to have just toasted someone's pillow having mistaken it for a marshmallow.
