This group is an invite-only collection of flickrs best photos. What makes a photo the best, in our opinion? Simple: Look at the gallery.

Every image here is outstanding and worth a serious look; each image stopped a mod in their tracks, and was then seconded in by a really critical backstop before it was accepted.

The idea is a collection that will stop you in your tracks; a collection where you won't just go look at thumbnails, you'll actually view the images. Instead of quantity, quality.

So these have to be far, far above average, and better than just "really good." Show-stoppers. Attention-getters. Peak performances and truly inspired works. Not work; art. Not history; burning memories. Simply put, exquisite.
