About The Not a Photographer Photo Contest

Yeah, yeah, we've all won "best photo" of the year in some contest or another. Old news.
We're calling all fauxtographers, photographers, hobbyists, amateaurs and anyone that knows awful photography. Announcing the worst photo of the year contest! Think spot coloring, cut off limbs and scary Photoshop effects. You can even edit something you've taken previously. Create for us a real masterpiece of horror, hilarity, or what have you, and help contribute to charity while doing it!
The winner will get the title and an imaginary trophy to put on your mantle. Oh yeah, you'll also get a feature on the You Are Not a Photographer blog, as well as a t-shirt with your winning photo.
You have until June 15, 2011 at 9 p.m. Central Time to submit your piece of crappyiness. We'll start the first round of voting on June 16.
The final five photos will appear on a T-shirt design. All procceds from the sales of those t-shirts will got to a to-be-determined non-profit organization.
This group is where you will submit your photos. Submit one or many, but make sure the work is your own. You will be required to sign a release and waiver if your photo is chosen. You will be required to have a Flickr account, but you do not need a paid account. Sign up for free!
