About NationalWeatherOnline - Northeast Region

Real-time or near real-time photos, images and video of ongoing weather events in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. All applicable images will appear on northeast.nationalweatheronline.com, to inform the public nationwide of the nature of transpiring weather events in the Northeast.

TO JOIN THE NATIONAL WEATHER ONLINE GROUP:

1) Become a member of Flickr. It's free, it's quick and it's easy. It will take about 2 minutes.

2) Then, go to www.flickr.com/groups/northeast_weather/

3) Click "Join This Group" to become a member.

4) Upload your photos to your account.

5) Title them as you wish - be sure to include your name and location in the description so they will post to the site and you'll get credit for your photo - and give some description of the weather event or situation!

6) Important: If you'd like your pictures to post to National Weather Online, they must be marked "public" under the Additional Information section to the right of the photo in your account. Otherwise, if they're not "public," we can't post them!

6) Share them with the National Weather Online - Northeast Region group.

From there, once you've posted your pictures to the group, they'll instantly appear on the Flickr group page, and if you've made them PUBLIC instead of private or friends/family only, we'll post them on the NationalWeatherOnline.com page (otherwise the application will not give us permission to post to the site), where the ongoing archive will be kept for all to see.
